Richard Allen Bachmann

Richard Allen Bachmann, 78, of Lake Katrine, passed Saturday morning, December 3, 2016 at Golden Hill Health Care Center of Kingston.

Richard was born February 17, 1938 in Torrington, Connecticut and was the son of the late Charles and Sarah Mae Bachmann.

He had been employed by Hyundai of Poughkeepsie as an auto mechanic.

He was an accomplished musician, playing the steel guitar, banjo and fiddle. For many years, he played with the "String Masters" and several other groups.

He is survived by his wife Wendy Hummel, his daughters, Deb Robinson and Nancy Bachmann, a niece, Heather Bachmann Biaz and a nephew, Michael Bachmann Biaz.

Services will be private at the discretion of the family.
